You may already be aware of this Federal Government funding, but for those of you who aren’t, it may be relevant. Could provide you with additional funds to support young people to return to school education, for example through a re-engagement program, or undertake vocational training that provides a pathway to employment.

VET Development Centre – Professional Development Grants for RTOs
The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) supports professional development initiatives for vocational training practitioners as part of its commitment to quality training outcomes for the Victorian vocational training system. DEECD has funded the VET Development Centre to deliver professional development programs and services to the sector over the period 2015-17. Funding will support Providers to realign their business needs to meet the challenges and opportunities of a market environment.

Anzac Centenary Major Grants Program
The Anzac Centenary Major Grants Program provides financial assistance for projects which commemorate, honour and remember the service and sacrifice of Victoria's World War I veterans and their communities.The program is designed to support significant projects between $20,000 and $100,000 which have a commemorative or education benefit for Victoria's diverse community.The program supports projects in Victoria and is separate from and will complement other Anzac Centenary grants programs delivered by the Victorian Government and the Commonwealth.

Tourism Victoria
As part of Tourism Victoria's Events Program, the Country Victoria Events Program(CVEP) provides funding of up to $10,000 per event to assist with event delivery & marketing. Tourism Victoria recognises that there are many events being held in regional areas that can develop into key regional events. As part of Tourism Victoria’s Events Program, the Country Victoria Events Program assists with this development.
Key objectives of the Country Victoria Events Program:
There are two rounds of funding per year. April 1 and October 1 annually.
